Michael Vahrenwald “Natural History”
Michael Vahrenwald at enter:gallery New York, New York – enter:gallery is proud to present its second solo exhibition titled “Natural History” by photographer Michael Vahrenwald. The opening reception will include an artist presentation and will be held Thursday evening, July 14th, 7:00-9:00 pm at enter:gallery, 60-62 E 11th St. 3rd Floor, New York, between Broadway and University Place. This event is free and open to the public. Natural History is composed of excerpts from Vahrenwald’s series (Forest Floor, Methods & Receiver, Universal Default, and Plant Drawings), centralizing on the intersection of nature and human advancement. These detailed photographs are un-obscured observations of mankind’s interference with nature, and how nature responds, breaks through, and even gives back. Michael Vahrenwald is a MFA graduate from Yale University. He has exhibited in galleries and museums around the world including the Whitney Museum of American Art, Mary Boone Gallery and Galerie Alain LeGaillard.
